Araldite® 2015  Germanischer Lloyd (GL) certified, Det Norske Veritas Approvals
Araldite® 2015 is a two component, room temperature curing paste adhesive, which gives resilient bonding and sealing on metals, composites and plastics.

Araldite 2015 is particularly suitable for SMC and GRP bonding and when formulated for specific applications it forms durable, elastomeric joints that are water tight andm weather resistant, making ideal for all types of marine applications.
Araldite® 2015 has been awarded the internationally recognised Germanisher Lloyd and Det Norske Veritas Type Approvals for the construction of commercial and military marine craft and aluminium fast ferries. This product can be now used for the appropriate bonding applications on any boat, ship or ferry without having to apply for individual appovals.

Araldite® 2031
Black, pasty, two component epoxy adhesive
Araldite® 2031 is a room temperature curing, two-component paste adhesive giving a durable bond. It is thixotropic and non sagging up to a coating thickness of 10 mm and is particularly suitable for SMC and GRP bonding.

Araldite® AW 4858/HW 4858
Two component epoxy adhesive system

  • Long pot life, ideal for large composite part assemblies

Araldite® AW4858/ Hardener HW4858 is a two-component, room temperature curing, black coloured epoxy adhesive paste of high strength and toughness. Performances can be enhanced by post-curing at elevated temperature. It is suitable for bonding a wide variety of metals, and especially designed for bonding composites.

Araldite® AW4859/ Hardener HW4859 is a two-component, epoxy adhesive paste of high strength and toughness.
Performances can be enhanced by post-curing at elevated temperature. It has been designed to perfectly bond onto composites , especially CFRP but it is suitable for bonding a wide variety of metals, ceramics and many other substrates in common use.

Toughened, two component methacrylate adhesive

Araldite® 2022 is used to fix together different components of the yacht, which involves the bonding of dissimilar substrates, such as polystyrene, aluminium, steel and various engineering plastics. Araldite 2022 has a good resistance to the harsh environmental conditions encountered at sea, as well as its excellent bonding properties to the wide range of substrates involved in the construction of racing yachts. It requires only minimal pretreatment.

These two-component adhesive composed of the polyol component (A) and the isocyanate component (B) have to be mixed in a certain proportion and process. The adhesives can also be obtained as flame retardant systems. The adhesive layer of 2-component polyurethane adhesive is tough to elastic-flexible after curing, depending on the raw materials. Our systems are supplied with a pot life of 2-120 minutes, available in viscosities from thin to highly viscous. PUR 2-component adhesives are ideal for bonding surfaces for vehicle superstructures, facade elements, as well as in shipbuilding.
Other suitable applications include high-quality assembly bonding, plastic bonding, corner angle bonding, as well as its use as a potting compound or as adhesives for SMC components.

Adhesive pastes

Multi-purpose adhesive pastes
These are suitable for non-structural fiberglass applications. The comprehensive range includes a number of adhesive pastes based on ortho and isophthalic acid for all application areas.

High-performance adhesive pastes
These are formulated with the addition of the unique urethane acrylate technology to improve the fatigue resistance compared to standard adhesive pastes. This series of adhesive pastes can be used if a higher performance than with a standard adhesive paste is required, and if structural adhesives are too specified. The product series also represents an alternative to vinyl ester adhesive pastes.
