Overview Silicone Adhesives and Sealants
- Acetoxy Curing Systems, Characteristics: It is a 1-Component adhesive; General purpose acetoxy RTV-System. Cures to a rubbery solid at room temperature on exposure to water vapor in the air. The Products has a long shelf life, when fully cured applies with UL regulations and FDA; products perform at temperatures ranging from -65°C to +300°C; generally it has a short curing time; good adhesion to various metals, plastics and glass; non reversible curing; it is easy to work and handle; very good adhesion.
- Alcoxy Curing Systems, Characteristics: 1-Component neutral cure RTV adhesive and sealants; cures at room temperature when exposed to moisture in the air; non corrosive; low odor; excellent adhesion to many substrates; products perform at temperatures ranging from -55°C to +180°C, high mechanical properties.
- Oxime Adhesives (Neutral), Characteristics: 1-Component oxime RTV silicone adhesives and sealants; cures on exposure to water vapor in the air; non corrosive, low odor; excellent adhesion to most metals and plastics; perform at temperatures ranging from -60°C to +300°C, best mechanical properties, new systems fulfill with low Meko content < 1% all new regulations like 67/548/EEC.
- 2-Component RTV Silicone Adhesive- and Sealants (Polyaddition reaction): a 2-component, fast curing system with an outstanding resistance to thermal, climatic and environmental attacks. It is designed for bonding metal or plastic surfaces, especially in electrical industries like solar
